Let us show him that as leaders in our local religious communities, we don't believe there is a mandate from the people of the United States to weaken environment protections. Rather, there is mandate from the Creator to protect and care for creation. If you are clergy or provide leadership in some capacity in your faith group, congregation or denomination, we encourage you to sign the national letter coordinated by the Interfaith Climate and Energy Campaign. This letter may be downloaded here. You are strongly encouraged to find two or more other leaders to sign on. Pass it out at meetings in your congregation or gatherings of clergy. Time is short.
