A NEWSLETTER OF THE NORTH AMERICAN COALITION FOR CHRISTIANITY AND ECOLOGY

Volume Seven, Number One
November/December 1997

NACCE's Mission

To address effectively the greatest moral issue of our time — our continuing destruction of the Earth;

To teach reverence for God's creation, with the understanding that humans are not separate from the natural world, and that the Common Good must refer to the whole household of Earth;

To bring Christians into a loving relationship with the Earth, facilitating the formation of regional earthkeeping ministries;

To provide information and resources for open minded study of issues in the context of biblical theology and contemporary science;

To promote church partnerships with local, regional and national organizations concerned with ecology and social justice.
