EPISCOPAL CHURCH STRENGTHENS ITS MINISTRY OF JUSTICE, PEACE AND INTEGRITY OF CREATION

The newly created Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Committee (JPIC) of the National Episcopal Church kicked off a new initiative with a 3-day training conference in Columbus, Ohio, November 2-4. Each of the 220 participants at this conference learned about the five components of the JPIC program: Peace, Integrity of Creation, Antiracism, Economic Justice, and Jubilee Ministry. The core participants at the Ohio conference were the recently appointed 5-member teams from each of the nine Provinces of the Episcopal Church.
