- Ecology and Liberation; A New Paradigm, by Leonardo Boff, translated by
John Cumming (#978-1, $14.95). Taking cues from science as well as mystical traditions,
Boff finds that interrelatedness forms the key to the new paradigm.
Jesus The Wisdom of God; An Ecological Theology, by Denis Edwards (#002-5,
$16.95). Edwards crafts an alternative to the anthropocentrism and alienation of
much of Christian tradition by finding in the roots of Christian mysticism and Christian
identity an ecological theology for our time.
Passion for the Earth; The Christian Vocation to Promote Justice, Peace and
the Integrity of Creation, by Sean McDonagh (#021-1, $13.95). McDonagh shows
how recovery of the prophetic tradition of the Bible can provide a springboard for
people to develop new ways to live more justly and sustainably.
Sustainability; Economics, Ecology and Justice, by John B. Cobb, Jr. (#859-9,
$16.95). Cobb discusses these complex issues in language accessible to the lay person.
Covenant for a New Creation; Ethics, Religion and Public Policy, Carol
S. Robb and Carl J. Casebolt, editors (#740-1, $18.95). This anthology demonstrates
how degradation of the biosphere results from the 'ownership' mentality, and how
a 'covenant' relationship can restore and protect ecological integrity.
