NACCE STRENGTHENS ITS HOSPITALITY NETWORK

Pat and Ron Schauer, network coordinators, have sent a letter to Host homes in the NACCE Friends of Creation Hospitality Network, asking hosts to participate in a utilization survey, and to contribute their ideas. Before most bed-and- breakfasts became upscale glorified motels many people had some wonderful experiences staying in homes with ordinary people and sharing brief moments of their lives. That is the network experience we hope for.

If you are a Host family, please take the time to respond to Ron's letter. If you are not a Network Host but have experiences in such a network, will you share them? Some questions you might consider:

Do or did you belong to any other hospitality network?

What are your concerns about staying in a home? About being listed in a directory?

What do you look for in your travels?

Are vacations part of your Christian commitment to creation ( trail building, stream reclamation, retreats, etc.)? Are such opportunities important information for a Host to have available?

We urge, no BEG, you to write your ideas, concerns and suggestions to Ron Schauer, 106 River View Dr., Longview WA 98632-5828, phone 360/636-3769.
