CANADIANS CREATE ENVIRONMENTAL AUDIT FOR RELIGIOUS PROPERTIES

The Canadian Coalition for Ethics, Ecology and Religion (CCEER) has designed and tested a series of 12 questionnaires for use by any local faith community. The questions cover meeting space, heating, lighting and cooling systems, insulation and sealing, kitchen and catering, washrooms and plumbing, offices, garden and lawn, surrounding grounds, carpark and paved areas. The audit process stimulates greater awareness and discussion of how all decisions impact the environment and the larger community.

Copies of the Audit ($5.00 plus $2 postage) are available from the CCEER office, 22 Carriage Bay, Winnipeg MB, R2Y 0M5, Canada (204) 832-1882.
