EARTHKEEPING NEWS A NEWSLETTER OF THE NORTH AMERICAN COALITION FOR CHRISTIANITY AND ECOLOGY Volume Three, Number One September/October 1993 NACCE CO-SPONSORS THREE ECUMENICAL REGIONAL CONFERENCES The Reverend Jose Cunanan, a Methodist minister and an advocate for the environment with the National Council of Churches in the Philippines, will be in this country the month of October 1993 under the auspices of the Peacemaking Program of the Presbyterian Church, USA. NACCE in three cities is collaborating with the local Presbytery and an ecumenical steering committee to afford him as large an audience as possible. Cunanan has served on the staff of the World Council of Churches and participated in the WCC Consultation and Global Forum in Rio de Janeiro last year. In addition to the conferences and media interviews, regional steering committees will arrange for Cunanan to speak, during the several days of his visit in each city, to seminary and college classes, youth groups, clergy groups and congregations.
