A NEW YEAR'S GREETING
Walk Upon This Planet
Amidst a world in trouble, it is true, there are songs of hope and vision
That are starting to break through.
The chaos may be ringing in your ears,
But the voices won't stop singing until everybody hears.
The truth is higher than a bird can fly. It's bigger than a mountain,
Even wider than the sky.
It's deeper than the wells inside the mind,
And it's more than what we're seeking, or could ever hope to find.
Chorus:
Walk upon this planet, call it "Home",
From the highest celebration to the deepest pain-filled moan.
This worried world is yearning to forgive,
And reveal the unity where all together people live.
(Tune: Snowbird; Words: Institute of Cultural Affairs Songbook)
